The Four Basic Safety Rules
- Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.

- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you have decided to shoot.
- Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
Range Etiquette
- Never handle a firearm when others are downrange. Respect "cease fire" every time.
- Keep your lane tidy and pick up your brass if the range asks you to.
- Ask questions. Every shooter started as a beginner.
